Let me start by saying I had a blast shooting these photos. This is definitely one of my favorite looks and shoots. It, in a weird way, felt really therapeutic. It probably was the running through a big beautiful field, climbing up hills to see gorgeous views in all directions, letting the wind embrace me, and having no time crunch. Despite everything I have been dealing with in life, this photoshoot took me away for a minute. If you know me personally, you know I am going through a lot right now, but I think it is so important to continue to soak up every minute of joy possible. Trust me, I also believe in letting myself feel sad, overwhelmed, tired, etc. and I also believe in keeping your head up. For me, being in nature, feeling the elements, it brings me closer to my Creator and when I am closer to Him, I feel stronger, yet humble, and more alive, able to allow myself to stay in the moment. Anyway, now that I am pouring my thoughts onto the screen, I think I’ll wrap it up. Leaving you with the idea that letting go, even if only for a short time, might be exactly what you need.
