This woven wall-hanging was handmade by yours truly. Specially made for a bride-to-be! I’m always amazed at how weaving just takes my mind off my issues. It’s so therapeutic for me and it allows me to be creative and let go of my perfectionism. I recently started creating weavings that are a lot more unorganized and undone. I love letting the edges of yarn hang out the front of the piece and allowing there to be unfilled spots in the warp. To me it is about being messy, textured, fresh, and effortless. Somehow it totally meshes with my personal vibe & style.
I’m actually in the process of considering putting some of these babes up for sale & doing custom pieces, too. What do you think?? Interested in a piece for your home/office/friend? Let me know!! Send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
This weaving in particular measures approximately 20-22″ wide x 44-46″ long from dowel to tip of fringe. Hangs on a 24″ wide dowel.
