Time is so precious. Speaking of time, let me give you all a little glance at our timeline…

My husband, Jarrett, and I met 7 and a half years ago. He gave me a promise ring 6 years ago and proposed the real deal 5 years ago. We married 5 months later in late February. I was just 17 when we met, 21 when we said “i do” and am now about to celebrate my 25th birthday. We are close to celebrating our 4th year of marriage. I gave birth to our baby boy, Noah, just 6 months ago, which brings us to today. A happy family of 3 (4 if you count the dog) soaking up the sweet time we have together this holiday season.

We have grown enormously as a couple, laughed, learned, cried, and been shaped into the people we are now. We’ve experienced so much of life together in such a short amount of time. I am always surprised looking back at our photos and the years, thinking my goodness if time would just  s l o w  down! This Christmas it seemed especially appropriate to get my hubs a gorgeous timepiece. To remind him (and myself) to enjoy the simple moments we get as a family. I have teamed up with JORD Wood Watches to share with you their beautiful watches that will make you wonder why you’d buy anything else this holiday season. They offer unique woods from around the globe and a stunning variety of modern and classic (may I say timeless) styles for both men and women. I’m pretty sure I’ll be “borrowing” his watch quite often. ;) I chose this Conway Series men’s watch in Walnut and Jet Black. He loved it. It’s perfectly masculine without being too busy. We both think the chronograph functionality is awesome and agree that the walnut wood with the stainless steel links make it even more striking. Side note: did you know that chronograph watches were originally made to track astronomical objects in the sky?! How cool is that? When my husband and I were first dating, we would go camping in Santa Barbara and lay staring up at the stars. We would even lay on the sidewalk outside my house after our dates, just staring at the stars and wondering and talking into the night. I also pretty much passed his astronomy class for him in college ;) I think it’s safe to say astronomy has played a part in our relationship, so even more perfect to reference that in his new wood watch. Anyways…

As a special treat to all of you guys, I have teamed up with JORD to offer you an exclusive gift card opportunity!
