Motherhood is such a blessing. This little guy keeps me on my toes in the best way possible. As we are nearing his first birthday, I am amazed and sad at how fast time flies by. I crave moments like these. Us, together, in the moment. It is truly the sweetest thing in life. I want to raise him to be kind and courageous, but most of all I want to love him. I want him to know he is loved and to feel it even in the daily mundane life. Memories don’t just come from big family vacations or events or parties, they come in tiny moments like these. It can be the simplest things in life that people look back on and cherish. My goal in being a parent is to be present and to be intentional with my words and my actions. Trust me, it does not always come easily. Sometimes I catch myself getting so caught up in things that don’t truly matter in the long run and I have to stop and realize where my priorities and concern should be. It is a simple goal, but a daily challenge. I’ve teamed up with JORD Wood Watches to share their classic, stylish timepieces with you as a reminder to take time to make memories and to really remember to slow down.

I want to encourage all you other mamas and papas to make memories with your kids and to remember that they can be made in the smallest form. Start small, with routine, with laughter, with soaking up the moments you have with your children, big or small. Time gets away from us, but we can try our best to soak it all up and always hold these days and years in our hearts. With all this being said, JORD and I are offering a GIVEAWAY for one lucky mama (or dada)!! They have teamed up with me to giveaway $100 to one winner, AND every person who enters will receive $25 shop credit! With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day right around the corner, these beautiful watches are the perfect gift for mom or dad, husband, or wife. Everyone could use a pretty reminder on their wrist!
