It’s official. I’m in my third trimester! (eek!) Only about 12 more weeks until we get to meet our baby! It is really surreal that we are actually becoming parents. It’s starting to really settle in and hit me that this is happening so soon. I feel beyond blessed to have this baby growing within me.

For some reason the third trimester seems to feel like a wake up call. Like hello! Get everything done, baby’s coming real soon!¬†My Daily Soul Sessions book gave me a beautiful quote to meditate on this week…

“Remember how far you have come, not just how far you have to go. You are not where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be” – Anonymous¬†

I think this was exactly what I needed to hear. My body has already done an amazing job at growing this tiny human. I am strong, able, and already a mother. As those doubts started creeping into my mind this week, I have tried to remind myself of these simple truths. I think almost every woman begins to have doubts about the daunting third trimester and fears labor and delivery. It’s normal, but it’s not necessary. Today I am reminding myself to slow down, enjoy these moments, and trust in the process.

Side note: Every pregnant woman needs to invest in a pair of maternity boyfriend jeans. Life-changing.
