The most amazing charcuterie board on a raw plank of wood.. So good.
How adorable are these handmade overalls my girlfriend gave!? swoon. She blogs over HERE.
My niece is the absolute cutest. In her hand-dyed shibori onesie. :)
Two weeks ago we celebrated our little boy with a backyard baby soirée with all my dearest friends and family. It was truly magical. An evening I will never forget. Our baby boy is so loved already and it was such a special gathering to welcome this sweet life.
I really enjoy event planning and styling, so I chose to help my sister-in-law and momma in throwing this gorgeous soirée. There were so many DIY projects! We created the indigo shibori napkins, the breezy table runner, the dip-dyed macrame hangings, along with those pretty sea salt scrub favors and that giant weaving displayed behind the cake. My husband handcrafted the wooden floor tables and light stands for the strands of cafe lights. The event was mainly inspired by the sea. We used whales, buoys, a life saver, oars, coral, and some pretty lanterns to incorporate our theme throughout the design. I absolutely loved using The Beach People roundie towels in the decor! It added a bit of interest and was perfect for the sea theme.
I really wanted the night to feel relaxed and intimate. We went with a Mediterranean menu, serving pasta salads, greek chicken salad, fresh pita bread, white sangria, and sparkling lemonade. It was delicious. Of course, that vanilla cake was my favorite part!
Overall, this baby shower was more beautiful than I could have asked for. It left me feeling extremely blessed and so excited to welcome our baby into this world.
